En el siglo XXXI, un grupo de jóvenes se unen para proteger el universo bajo la leyenda de Superboy. Así empezaron, en un número de Superboy, y ahí tenían que quedarse, pero los lectores americanos quisieron saber más, y entonces empezaron a aparecer esporádicamente en la colección del mismo, hasta que se hicieron los autenticos protagonistas. Vimos como recorrian el universo enfrentandose a peligrosos enemigos, de los tres miembros iniciales se llegó a la veintena de personajes, planetas, héroes, enemigos, todo formó una gran historia que se hizo ganar el cariño del público. La saga de la Gran Oscuridad, es quizás una de las mejores sagas de la historia de este grupo y quizas de los comics en general, los amigos Paul Levitz y Keith Giffen junto con Larry Malhsted le dieron nuevos bríos a la LEGION DE SUPERHEROES allá por el ´82 con esta historia épica donde los muchachos se enfrentaron a... Mejor no les cago la historia.

De niño la leí en Supercómics de México, historieta donde se publicaban traducciones de La Legión de Superhéroes, Los Campeones de la Justica (La Liga de la Justicia), entre otros. La saga de La Gran Obscuridad es de las mejores que he leído. Gracias, ahora la puedo entender mejor.
